Occupying a narrow strip along the banks of the River Avon, This charming city is situated around a picturesque harbour. With its incredible number of trendy bars and flexible licensing policy (many clubs are open until 4am), Bristol is now one of the great hotspots for stag and hen weekends in the UK.
Nightlife
Whether you’re looking to sweat the night away on the dance floor, or swap anecdotes over a few beers in a welcoming pub, Bristol offers all the trimmings for both. Start off by trying the infamous Exhibition cider at the Corrie Tap (8.4%), which can only be served in half pints, then, (if you’re still standing) hit the clubs. Bristol is an endless source of new musical talent, so whatever you’re into you’ll find a club that plays it. Try something a little different by dancing the night away in club Thekla, which is anchored off Bristol harbour!
If however you’d prefer to sink into a comfy sofa with a cocktail and be dazzled by beauties then the Dojo lounge should be experienced. With its atmospheric roof terrace and heated outdoor area it’s the perfect place to funk the night away.
Lap dancing
When it comes to half naked ladies dancing around for cash Bristol wont let you down. Four strip clubs are there to snatch you up off the street if you still have loose notes in your pocket. These would be well spent in Central Chambers, which spices up your visit with fantasy themed dress up every Friday. You wont be taken to the cleaners either as unlike many such establishments the bar maintains standard pub prices.
Daytime activities
If your heads not throbbing too badly then Bristol offers a massive range of extreme activities to occupy your stag weekend. Whether it’s putting the local woodland to good use in a game of paintball, bouncing around the muddy terrain in 4x4s, or gunning down pigeons (clay only!) a good time is assured. If that night out was just too heavy then there is every conceivable cuisine available to sooth an unsettled stomach.

Bristol, is one of those places everyone has heard about but know little about it. So here is the lowdown: Bristol is good, real good, and certainly one of the best stag party destinations in the county - the variety and quality of activities is superb, the nightlife one of the best in the county, and above all, it is very stag friendly (which is crucial as it can totally make or break a big weekend).
